For purchased goods apply the general warranty terms and decisions in the attachment of certain goods. The delivery note shall be considered as a warranty certificate, if a warranty certificate is not attached to the delivery. I.T. Tim d.o.o. ensures that the devices are before dispatch, without constructional, manufacturing, material or functional defects.

Warranty period begins from the date of purchase. The warranty for a technical product is at least 12 months. Manufacturer of certain technical products offers longer warranty period than the minimum, which is visible in the attached warranty certificate. For technical products, for which the warranty period is not visible in the warranty certificate, delivery note or invoice; shall be deemed that the warranty period lasts 12 months.

The warranty shall not be granted in the following cases:

• if the buyer has failed to comply with the instructions for use of the product,
• if the buyer has unprofessionally or negligently handled the product,
• if the product was interfered by an unauthorized person,
• if a failure occurred due to greater, natural force (e.g. lightning, voltage fluctuations in the network, etc.),
• if an incorrect installation was carried out,
• if the failure occurred due to improper use of consumable material (e.g. printer: renewable toners, etc.),
• if the failure occurred during transportation after delivery of the product,
• if the equipment is installed in an inappropriate area (e.g. humidity, dust, heat, cold, etc.),
• if there is a malfunction due to excess voltage or battery leakage,
• if there were installed non-original parts in the product,
• if the product has been improperly maintained,
• if the buyer has adapted the use of the product to his specific requirements, which are not in accordance with the purpose of the prescribed use.

From the warranty excluded are consumable parts, which are subject to constant use (media, ribbons, toner cartridges, printer heads, developer entities, projector bulbs, batteries, etc.). The warranty period does not apply to software that is the subject of intellectual property. Cleaning of products is also in the warranty period not free.

Product, which becomes defect within the warranty period, shall be repaired or replaced in the period of 45 days, in case this is not possible, it may be replaced by a new and intact product on the customer’s request. The service or the supplier do not guarantee for the information on the memory media. For unjustified reclamation claims we charge the services according to the valid price list.

For the warranty use, it is advisable to deliver the reclamation record with a description of the error and the environment in which the device was used, a copy of the delivery note and invoice, the warranty certificate (valid for equipment which has the original warranty certificate attached when purchased) and the complete technical documentation. It is mandatory to submit at least one document (delivery note, invoices, warranty certificate) where is visible the date of purchase of the equipment, as well as an original warranty certificate with serial number for products which have these documentation.
